RecordGraph Terms of Service

By accessing or using RecordGraph ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
RecordGraph aggregates and links publicly available U.S. business entity data from official government sources, including Secretary of State registries, contractor license boards, and federal registries. Data is provided for informational purposes only.
2. Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
RecordGraph is not a "consumer reporting agency" as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq., and does not furnish "consumer reports" as defined therein.
3. Prohibited Uses
You agree that you will NOT use the Service, or any data obtained through it, for any purpose that would constitute a "permissible purpose" under the FCRA or otherwise require FCRA compliance, including but not limited to:
- Employment screening or hiring decisions
- Tenant or housing screening
- Credit, lending, or insurance underwriting decisions
- Any decision regarding a consumer's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, or housing
By using the Service, you certify that you will not use any data obtained through RecordGraph as a factor in any decision covered by the FCRA or substantially similar state law, regarding any individual.
4. Data Accuracy
Data is sourced directly from government records and may contain errors, omissions, or be outdated. RecordGraph makes no warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or currency. Users should independently verify any information with the originating government source before relying on it for any consequential purpose.
5. No Warranty; Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is." RecordGraph disclaims all warranties, express or implied. RecordGraph is not liable for any damages arising from use of the Service or reliance on its data, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold RecordGraph harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, including any FCRA-regulated use.
7. Termination
RecordGraph may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user found to be in violation of these Terms.
8. Changes to Terms
RecordGraph may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
